“Baron d’Italo Calvino decided to perch himself in a tree all his life in order to prove to his contemporaries the true meaning of freedom and intelligence and to show them that they lived in mediocrity both in their relationship to nature than in their loves, so devoid of madness, or in their historical commitment.
Thus, this small stool extended by the magic of its deconstruction has become « perched ». It encourages us to reflect on our commitments in order to always live free.
