“A knife?
It’s not one object among others. It has a special significance for me because I am a collector. Before, when it was still possible to take them onto airplanes, I always brought them back from my travels.
To design for me is to think of a close relationship with the body, even intimately and in a way that offers resistance. What I’m interested in is that this ratio is “comfortable” in terms of quality, sensory well-being but also in a broader sense, comfort… the soul, in a way.”
